That show was amazing!
Just to please Mr. Cannon, I will make another post.
So I got picked up by Dan and his friend at 8 pm and arrived at the venue at 8:20… and OMG, Hilary and Laura parked right next to us! OMG, OMG, OMG. So I had to rush out and hug them, I mean, it is the course of action for me at the time. So I rushed out and hugged Laura while Hilary was trying to open the umbrella on her way out of the car with her rear door semi opened and it popped towards her face. Poor Hila. But she got out and we did that hugging thing. We exchanged some words, such as why To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie’s lead singer + guitarist left the band the the reasoning behind the disband of Revolver Modele.
So it’s 8:30, so me, Dan and Dan’s friend decided to kill time by wandering around. We got back and the doors opened. Yay.
We got in and sat down for a good bit. To Kill a Petty Bourgeosie did a bit of a scoring thing since their lead singer isn’t there anymore, which sounded really cool, and these actors were in front of them on the stage and pretending to do a morning routine sort of thing before meeting up with eachother for their date.
Lookbook came on later and OMG, THEY WERE AMAZING!!!! And the actors were on their supposed “date” while Lookbook was playing.
Dearling Physique came on and like, they were insane. Matt Vanelli was strumming chords like crazy on what I think is a overdrive pedal, their drummer was really fast and agile and the lead singer, Dom, was insane and dancing all over the place. It was one of the best performances I have ever seen. Oh, and they’re playing again at ALoft for Vigilante Justice. Sweet. Oh, and during that, the actors were strugging with wolves. Yeah… I had no idea what was going on, really. Oh, and Dom participated with the actors! OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! THAT IS REALLY FUCKING AWESOME!!!
So I ended the night meeting Dom and their drummer, and talking to Matt and Hilary about random stuff. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Laura though, because mah ride was rushing me. Gahh! So I like, left. I was a little sad I didn’t talk to Laura though.
So I got home, ate curry with okra and played bass until 4 am. What a pleasant way to end the night.
Edit. OMG, OMG, OMG. I forgot to mention that Hila said she’s gonna hook me up with Patrick Wolf’s new album. OMG, OMG, OMG, STOKAGE!!!
