My weekend will be filled with shows and grad parties
Ben Cannon asked me why I rarely update mah tumblr anymore. I don’t know; so now is a good time, I guess.
So I’m super stoked for the Dearling Physique, Lookbook and To Kill a Petty Bourgeoisie (isn’t that a sweet name?) show tomorrow. I’m also super stoked I get to see Matt Vanelli’s other band play finally since I missed them opening for Bella Koshka and Dada Trash Collage at the Entry a week ago, and I get to greet and possibly chill with Matt, Laura, Hilary and possibly Matt Franklin and Tim Ritter (you guys and your priorities, blah) as well tomorrow. *excitedly poses* And no, I won’t shut up about their awesomeness.
Anyways, onto life. Today, I hungout with The Fashion Club and had pizza at Gelatic Pizza with them today. If I remember, Dee, Zoe, John, Heaven, Anna, Michael, Anna, Kyle and Jessica were all there. It was quite crowded in the car. Luckily, I shared a seat with Heaven on the way there and back. Such a sweetie of her to let me split a seat with her.
And some sad news, I heard Revolver Modele are going to call it quits soon. Dude… that shit is terrible. I wanna catch them live at least once before they disband, but all their shows are 21+. Glargh. Not cool. Like… at least they’re quitting now, cuz they could totally win the award for best dressed band that isn’t a jaded outfit that only lasted for two albums.
Mah band is still underdeveloped. So far, we’ve just jammed. Although, we could easily fit in a chord progression at this point and I’m sure something sweet would happen. Luckily, I talked to Tim and he conjured up a pitch axis chord progression. So we’re gonna try that out on Sunday when we get together and jam. Hopefully we can turn it into a song.
